Onboard charging system allows you to simply plug the boat into a standard 15 amp (115VAC) electric socket and charge the 48VDC battery system with maximum load of 1100 watts. Charging time is based on battery use. Use the boat for 4 hours and figure 1 ½ times for the charging cycle. Based on normal use that would be a nice day on the lake and an overnight charge cycle ready to go for an early morning fishing trip.
Technically, this is an advanced electric boat system with the latest lithium-ion battery designed to last 4 times longer than standard battery technology and includes a 11-year warranty (as provided by Dakota Lithium). Motor and drive components are supplied from the leading electric outboard motor manufacturer, Elco Electric.
